Ramrod straight road... curved?

Gang,

How straight is a road? Consider a road as your life. Wait a nano! I'm visualizing my road... Ah oh! This ain't straight at all. It looks like a maze. Am I lost? Or am I on a wrong road?

Given a choice, would you be a driver or a navigator? Think. I would want to be a navigator. I love to get lost, and discover myself. I would love to help others get lost too!

Straight roads are boring. May be that's because you know there are no left turns or right turns. Long stretch of straight roads tires you and makes the drive uninteresting. Plain, simple, and stiff. But anything straight is difficult to bend.

Initially, I would envy those who have their lives as a straight road. Their lives are so smooth and an easy transit from one state to another. Cool! Who laid such straight roads for certain individuals? And why only to them? Oh, why be so partial? Questions echo. I'm left with my self and... with my questions.

The more winding the roads are, the more easy it is to get lost. I like winding roads. Not because they are filled with more surprises and unexpected thrills; but because anything winding is hard to unwind. Have you imagined winding roads at cross roads or cross roads of winding roads? Eeks, that's confusing!

Now, who created these winding roads for certain individuals and why, oh, why? I'm playing squash with these questions. Bing bong, thud-budh! My hands and legs pain. Blood circulation increases. Sweat trickles. I rest against a wall and pant. Fresh air please!

I'm the Queen of my highway. Wait, I ain't a Queen because I don't have a King. But I'm a Princess of the highway! Gosh, I'm tired of crowning myself!

Hey, let's talk about those people who watch you while driving. Irrespective of the kind of road, you find milestones. These people who watch your step or your speedometer are like milestones. They stay; you move. Amazing!

Something struck me hard today. I sat back wondering about roads and their corelation with our lives. It's a beautiful feeling of realization. I guess I'm turning into one of those mummies, which are truths of dead and hidden lives. Well, I'm yet to be discovered... by myself.
